Naturally, in order to maintain our high standards, some conditions apply to accepting your pet to stay at The Fovant Cattery. They have been deliberately kept to a minimum. However, they are important. Not only do they form an important part of our contract with you but they also protect our other customer’s cats.

• All cats must be accompanied with a valid vaccination certificate current for Feline infectious Enteritis and upper respiratory infections. Boosters must have been administered more than 14 days prior to arrival.
• A £20 non refundable deposit is required with all bookings from new customers. Established customers need not pay a deposit.
• Cancellations within two weeks of a booking will incur the full booking charge. (This may be reclaimed from holiday insurance).
• Your cat must be treated against fleas and wormed before staying at the Fovant Cattery.
• We will not accept male cats over 7 months that have not been neutered
• All cats are insured whilst resident (up to a ceiling of £1250), however we cannot accept cats showing signs of ill health on arrival. The cost of transporting your cat to the vet is not covered by our insurance and will be charged at our standard rate. (this typically costs £28 per visit using Avon Lodge Vets in Wilton (£0.50 per mile and £10.00 per hour or part)
• Christmas and Easter periods are subject to minimum stays of 5 days.
• Charges are per day, allowing clients to arrive and collect at any time during opening hours.
• The cost of late collections will be passed on to the customer. Customers collecting early will be charged for the full duration of their booking.
